Pages / Sukhtian for Power

MSG Water Treatment & Environment Projects Division traces its roots to 1990, when the Environmental & Water Sciences Division was formed to focus exclusively on equipment sales. Building on that foundation, a dedicated Projects Division was established in 2000 to extend our scope into engineering, integration, and service—delivering complete water and wastewater solutions across industries.

In 2017, we founded Sukhtian for Power, Water & Environment (SPWE) as Munir Sukhtian Group’s contracting company, enabling full lifecycle delivery from design and build to operation and maintenance.

We are a subsidiary of Munir Sukhtian Group specializing in latest technology, high-quality, environment- friendly, and effective water and wastewater treatment plants. Also, we design, build, operate, and maintain advanced plants—UF, RO, and UV systems—and provide long-term operation and maintenance (O&M) services for municipal, industrial, and oil & gas clients, with a commitment to delivering exceptional values and services in every aspect of our work.

AL-Moujib Dam WTP

The Al-Moujib Dam Water Treatment Plant (WTP) is a surface-water treatment facility designed to treat raw water abstracted from the Al-Moujib Dam reservoir. The plant utilizes a multi-stage treatment process that includes chlorine dioxide dosing, coagulant dosing, an ultrafiltration (UF) unit, UV disinfection, activated carbon filtration, and final chlorination.

All treatment components are fully integrated with a PLC–SCADA automation system, supported by four pumping stations, to ensure reliable and continuous operation.

This process configuration enables the plant to consistently produce safe, high-quality potable water in full compliance with national drinking water standards.

Ras Al-Ain Uf plant

The Ras Al-Ain UF Plant is a surface-water treatment facility designed to treat raw water abstracted from the Ras Al-Ain spring source. The plant utilizes pressurized Ultrafiltration (UF) membrane technology to remove suspended solids, turbidity, pathogens, and colloidal contaminants, ensuring a high and stable permeate quality.

The treatment process includes upstream chlorination to control biological growth before the UF units, followed by UV disinfection and final (downstream) chlorination to guarantee microbiological safety and maintain an adequate residual throughout the distribution network.
